The brush-on application really matters here—going left to right in one pass gives a mirror shine that looks like actual machined brass. I was skeptical at first, but after polishing it with a soft cloth, the gleam is honestly close to the real metal parts on my kit.

Polished a small brass part with a cotton swab and the shine came out looking like actual metal, not painted plastic. The direction-based brushing really does matter, but once you get the hang of it, the effect is honestly stunning for such a tiny bottle.

I used a brush and painted in the same direction from left to right, and the polished finish actually looks like real metal. Definitely does what the description says for model detailing.
