Compare the HG Evangelion Mark 06 Ha Ver. with other Evangelion model kits. See how scale, accessories, and build style affect your choice.
Quick answer
If you want a Kaworu Eva kit with a spear and display stand, the HG Evangelion Mark 06 Ha Ver. is a straightforward choice. For other Evangelion units or different scales, compare accessory counts and build style before deciding.
What the HG Evangelion Mark 06 Ha Ver. includes
This kit is a colored, snap-fit model of the Mark 06 from Evangelion 2.0. It includes the Spear of Cassius, a halo, six interchangeable wrist parts, and a special display stand. The forearms use flexible resin to mimic the body suit look. Unlike generic HG Eva kits, this release is tied to a specific film appearance, so it suits builders who want that exact version.
How it compares to other Evangelion model kits
Other Evangelion kits vary in scale, accessories, and build complexity. Some prioritize articulation, while others focus on movie-specific details. The Mark 06 Ha Ver. sits in the HG scale range, which is smaller than Perfect Grade or Metal Build figures. If you already build HG Gundam kits, the snap-fit construction will feel familiar. However, if you want a larger centerpiece or die-cast parts, you'll need to look at other lines.
Trade-offs to weigh
- Accessory completeness: The Mark 06 Ha Ver. includes a spear, halo, and stand. Many other Eva kits sell these separately or omit them. If you want a ready-to-display kit, this is a strong point.
- Scale and presence: HG-scale kits are compact and easier to pose on a shelf. Larger scales offer more detail but take up more space and cost more. Decide based on your display area.
- Build simplicity: Snap-fit means no glue, and colored plastic means no paint is required. However, the flexible resin forearms may limit extreme arm poses compared to standard plastic joints. Check if you prioritize dynamic posing over the body-suit look.
