The carrier film practically disappears after a soak in warm water, leaving just the crisp dark gray lines. I've been using these on 1/144 kits, and they settle into panel lines without any silvering. Really happy with how sharp the details look.

Picked these up for a 1/144 kit and the dark gray adds just the right amount of contrast without being too flashy. The decals slide off easily and settle nicely with a bit of setting solution. Only small gripe is the carrier film is slightly thicker than I’d like on the smallest pieces.
