The Battroid mode looks way more menacing on the shelf than the fighter form, and the joint articulation actually holds a pose without sagging. I went with the VF-0A head this time and the detail on those little sensors is sharp for this scale.

Building it as the VF-0S instead of the VF-0A was the hard part, since the kit lets you choose either version with the same parts. The panel line detail on the Battroid chest is crazy for this scale, way sharper than I expected. Took me a weekend, but it was worth every minute.

Wasn't expecting the swap between the VF-0S and VF-0A parts to be this clean, both heads and chest pieces went on without any filing. Once built it actually holds a pose instead of sagging at the shoulders like some battroid kits I've had.
