Tamiya Plastic Modeling File - Flat 16mm

I was a bit skeptical about how well these flat files would handle tricky nooks, but the strong cutting action made trimming thick parts feel effortless. It even cut through fine brass wire cleanly without any snagging.

The flat 16mm file bites cleanly on thick sprue gates, and it handles fine brass wire surprisingly well without skipping. Only gripe is the handle gets a bit slick after prolonged use, but for the price it's a solid everyday tool.
