The long-awaited supply mother ship Asuka, the combat support tender assigned to the starboard side of the Yamato, as seen in "Space Battleship Yamato 2205 New Departure," gets a new 1/1000-scale model kit from Bandai! Use the included LED unit to wire the bridge to emit blue light; the lines on the hull deck are reproduced via finely molded details and waterslide decals. A display base is included.

Jason Z. ★★★★★

The panel lines and hangar bay details really pop once you start assembling, and the scale matches the Yamato kit perfectly for a fleet display. Took me a weekend to finish, but the fit was clean with barely any seam work needed.

Finally got my hands on this Asuka kit and the 1/1000 scale fits perfectly next to my Yamato. The panel lines are crisp and the hull detail really pops once you apply the decals. Assembly was straightforward, though I'd set aside an evening for it.

Grace Y. ★★★★★

The panel lining on this 1/1000-scale Asuka is crisp out of the box, and the hull has that nice, slightly matte finish that photographs well. She sits perfectly on the stand next to the Yamato, and the detail on the supply deck hatches really pops under a light.
