From The Empire Strikes Back, this classic Bandai Star Wars 1/144 AT-AT model kit has great detailing, even down to the removable side paneling. The legs feature movable joints that can even bend low enough to recreate the massive behemoth's collapse. This kit includes a 1/144 pilot, landing gear options, a snow themed dedicated display base, decals laser effects, leg dampers, articulated head and legs, and laser guns.

The removable side paneling is such a nice touch for a kit this size—you can actually peek at the inner frame without gluing it shut. Assembly was straightforward and the legs hold whatever pose I set, even that classic low stance.

Those legs actually bend low enough to recreate the kneeling scene from the movie, which I didn't expect at this scale. Even the little head guns feel sturdy, and the whole build took me a relaxing evening without any glue.

The removable side paneling is what sold me—you can peek at the inner mechanics without breaking anything. Assembly took an evening and the joints hold a low crouch pose perfectly for a display base.
