Panel lines on this VF-11B are sharp enough that a light wash does most of the work for you. The fighter mode locks together solid with barely any seam cleanup, which surprised me for a transformable kit. Took me a weekend to build and it's already the centerpiece of my Macross shelf.

The new mold really shows in the fighter mode—the nose and engine nacelles line up cleanly with almost no seam work needed. I've built a few older VF-11 kits and this one blows them away in fit and detail. Took me a weekend to assemble and it looks great on the shelf.

Panel lines on the VF-11B are razor sharp and the fighter mode locks together with almost no gaps. The tailing detail alone makes it worth the shelf space next to my other Macross kits.
