The detailing for this vehicle has been thoroughly adapted in scale to bring incredible realism. The inner cockpit and ion propulsion engine have been fine tuned and the added Death Star motif display base increases quality of display. A nipper or sprue cutter (sold separately) is required for assembly, but the kit does not require glue. The Y-Wing Starfighter comes with two sitting pilots, one standing pilot, an R5 style Astromech Droid, and an R2 style Astromech Droid. The canopy of the ship can also open up. Elizabeth H. ★★★★★

The Y-wing's scale detailing is truly impressive for 1/72, and it perfectly captures the battle-worn look from A New Hope. The engine and cockpit parts fit together cleanly.

Harper ★★★★★

The panel lines and engine detail on this 1/72 Y-Wing are way sharper than I expected for the scale, and it really captures that gritty Yavin look from A New Hope. Fit was tight enough that I barely needed filler on the fuselage seams.

Andrew ★★★★★

The Yavin battle detailing on this little Y-Wing is sharper than I expected for 1/72 scale, especially the panel lines along the fuselage. It sits nicely next to my other Episode IV ships without looking oversized. Took me about an evening to assemble and I never once felt lost in the instructions.
