HIQParts Kumano Brush KM

Co-developed with the legendary artisans of the Kumano Brush Business Cooperative Association, this premium detail brush is engineered specifically for painting model faces, figures, and intricate character miniatures. Crafted with a specially developed, high-resilience synthetic fiber, this brush delivers the perfect balance of "koshi" (spring-back firmness) and exceptional paint retention. Designed to meet the high demands of master modelers, it allows for flawless, continuous line work and ultra-precise detailing without losing its sharp, cohesive point over time. Unlike traditional natural hair brushes, this advanced synthetic fiber is fully compatible with organic solvent-based hobby paints. It maintains its structural integrity and resists shedding or tip damage—even when used frequently with harsh lacquers, enamels, and acrylics. Care & Maintenance Instructions: Wash with Care: Never mash or press the brush tip vertically against the bottom of your cleaning container, as this will bend and permanently ruin the tip. Follow the Grain: Always rinse and wipe away paint gently along the natural flow of the hairs. For Dried Paint: If paint hardens or gets stuck in the ferrule, soak the brush in a dedicated hobby tool cleaner to dissolve the pigment completely before gently wiping it clean.
