After many searches we believe this Hue of SP Scarlet is identical to the orange/red of the stripes and marking on the studio scale Snowspeeder. It has a wonderful muted orange red and full matt finish. Though not conclusive we think once applied you will see the remarkable similarity to the production models made by ILM for the Empire Strikes Back. Also a great match to the red/orange for the Probe Droid markings and is a the perfect base colour for the ESB Cloud Car (Bespin Cloud Car). To be thinned with Archive-X AX-ATR thinner for airbrush use. Ratio's vary from colour to colour with an average of 70/30 paint to thinner. Thin's with water for brush use.

The matte finish on this paint is exactly what I needed for scale model markings — it dries flat without any sheen. Matched the orange-red stripe color perfectly on my studio-scale build.

Painted some small model parts with this, and the muted orange-red is exactly what I needed for a vintage sci-fi look. The matt finish dries perfectly flat without any shine. Only wish the 30ml bottle was a bit larger for the price.
