I’ve been using these bits to carve out precise channels for inlay work, and the centering tip keeps the groove perfectly aligned every time. The flat blade leaves a smooth, even bottom without any chatter marks.

I was pleasantly surprised at how cleanly these bits cut into the wood—the flat-bottomed groove came out perfectly smooth on my first try. The centering tip kept the bit from wandering, which saved me from ruining a project piece. Definitely a step up from my old set.

The flat-bottomed grooves are definitely cleaner than what I get with standard bits, but I wish the set included a few more common sizes. It works fine for my smaller projects, just not as versatile as I'd hoped.
