HGUC 026 Gelgoog Marine (Cima Custom)

The joints on this Cima Custom kit are tight and hold poses really well, which is a relief after some flimsier builds. I love how the sculpt captures the sleek Marine look from the anime. It went together cleanly in about two evenings.

The dark navy and magenta color scheme on this 1/144 kit looks fantastic on the shelf, and the beam naginata fits perfectly in its hand. I built it over a weekend and was impressed by how well the joints hold poses.

The articulation on this Cima Custom Gelgoog is surprisingly smooth for a 1/144 kit, and the mold detail really pops once assembled. I’m about halfway through building it, and the panel lines are crisp enough that even a beginner like me can get a clean finish.
