The wing markings and panel lines are crisp as hell out of the box, and the Battroid mode feels rock-solid in hand. Took me a good fifteen minutes to fiddle it through Gerwalk, but the articulation is a blast once you get the hang of it.

The transformation into all three forms is surprisingly smooth for such a complex figure, and the Battroid mode looks fantastic on the shelf. The paint on Roy Focker’s unit has that crisp, clean finish you’d hope for from a Hi-Metal R release.

Took me a few tries to get the transformation right, but once I did, the click of the joints locking into Battroid feels incredibly solid. The sculpt detail on the cockpit and the VF-0S's unique head design really pops on the shelf.
