Finally got a chance to try this lacquer, and it goes on super smooth over the chrome base coat just as described. The 35ml bottle is a good size for a single project, and it leveled out beautifully with two wet coats at 18 psi.

Sprayed this at 18 psi over a chrome base and the coverage was impressively smooth after two wet coats. Only gripe is the 35ml bottle feels small for the price, but the finish is worth it if you're doing small parts.
